The definition of word is summed upped to be meaningful. Words are meaningful. They have an affect on us. They can either be very kind or hurtful. They can motivate us or bring us down. They can move us in a way nothing else can. That’s kind of the way words work.
Many times in our life were faced with decisions or trials that leave us thinking we have no hope. God puts those trials in our life to test our faith and to rely on him. Many people have different ways of dealing with those difficult trials they either have a favorite Bible verse that helps them get through the trial or lyrics from a song that encourage them or a quote of any sort. But words have a strong affect that can be used in a good way. When faced with a trial or tough choice an encouraging message can automatically make us feel like there IS hope. Of course we know that only finding that true content hope is through Christ Jesus, and some of those “words” or “quotes” can lead us right to Him.
